Trash service: Residential trash service is handled by the City of Winchester Sanitation Department. Residents may contact the Clerk-Treasurers office at 765-584-6845 x 2303 to sign up for trash services.

Large item pick up: Residents must schedule pick up of large items by contacting the Clerk-Treasures office. Large items are picked up the first and third Thursday of each month. Items should be placed at curb no sooner than the night before scheduled pick up. See city website for list of allowable items.

City dumpster: The city dumpster is open on the third Saturday of every month from 9am–12pm. Only Winchester residents are permitted to dump and must show proof of residency. Only household trash permitted. No construction material, chemicals, or electronics. Yard and garden waste is allowed Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm and must be placed in the the designated location.

Yard and garden waste curbside service: Picked up by the Winchester Street Department on the same day as your trash. Waste must be in bags. Large materials must be neatly stacked. In the fall leaves must be raked to the curb or may be put in bags and set at curb. Do not put leaves in the street or gutters.

Expired Medications: May be dropped off in the collection box in the City Building or Randolph County Health Department.

Trash service: Residential trash service is provided by Best Way of Indiana. Service begins when residents sign up for water and sewer in the Union City town office.

Large item pick up: Residents must call Best Way at 1-800-745-5714 to schedule a large item pick up. Pick up day is the first Wednesday of the month.

Large dumpsters: Located at the Street Department lot for Union City, IN residents for trash or large items. Please stop by the City Clerk’s office for a no-cost ticket. No tires, electronics or hazardous materials. No more than a standard 1/2 ton pick up load. Lot is located at 424 S Howard Street.

City-wide clean up day: Held on the weekend prior to Memorial Day. Yard and garden waste may be taken to the Street Department lot at 426 S Howard at any time.

Leaf collection: Is provided in the fall by the Street Department.

Expired medications: Can be dropped in the medication drop at the city Police Department drop box at 219 S Howard.

town of farmland

Trash service: Residential trash pick up is provided by Best Way of Indiana. Sign up for service at the Farmland town office. Trash pick up day is Thursday.

Large item pick up: Residents must call Best Way at 1-800-745-5714 to schedule a large item pick up. Pick up day is the first Thursday of the month.

Yard and garden waste: May be taken to the burn pile behind the fire station. No treated wood and waste must be dumped on pile without the plastic bag.

Leaf collection: Residents will receive a phone call notice, and leaf collection information will be posted on the town Facebook page.

Expired medications: May be brought to the city building where it will be turned over to the police.

Large item pick up: Must be arranged through your trash service.
The Town of Lynn does not provide yard waste disposal service, however, there is leaf collection service in the fall.

Expired medication: Can be turned in to the town marshal at 103 S. Main Street during regular business hours.

City-wide clean up days: Occur as advertised.
