Education Grants & Scholarship

We our pleased to offer an environmental educational grant program! Grants are offered to all third and fourth grade classrooms for projects like fieldtrips to Boonshoft Museum, Cope Environmental Center, and Landfill/Recycling Centers. Past grants have also used funding for garden and greenhouse projects and recycling for schools or starting Earth clubs. However, funding for projects is broad and we would be happy to help you determine if your project would fit within the guidelines.

Project Guidelines:

Applicants may apply for a grant of any value up to $1,000 for the school year. The funds must be distributed during the same school year. Proposals may include but are not limited to new or expanding recycling programs within the school, project supplies, books, activities, field trips which teach students how to be good stewards of our natural resources.

We also offers scholarships for Randolph County seniors, who will be pursuing environmental studies in college. Applicants are selected through Community Foundation ISTS and can apply from November 15th – January 7th, 2024 at this link https://www.randolphcountyfoundation.org/scholarships/
